The Hateful Eight begins shooting
The Hateful Eight has just begun shooting in Telluride, Colorado, and that’s reason enough to celebrate as the film almost didn’t happen; thanks to the script leaking on the internet, Quentin Tarantino called off the project, before signing off with a live script-reading. But since then, he’s had a change of both heart and screenplay: the newly revised The Hateful Eight is currently being filmed on 35mm, and boasts an impressive cast that includes Tarantino regulars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, and Tim Roth, along with Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Dern, Michael Madsen, and Channing Tatum. The Western has a set release date of November 13 this year; will that be long enough for Tarantino to craft his next masterpiece?
