Universal’s reboot of The Mummy is looking for a suitable actress to potentially play a female monster.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Director Alex Kurtzman has two options. One story has been tailored for a male mummy, while the other is about a female mummy. The character’s gender will officially be decided after casting takes place within the next few months.
The Mummy reboot is currently set to come out on March 24, 2017.
