It’s been about 14 years since The Ring and 11 years since The Ring Two. If you’ve been eagerly awaiting a third installment in the franchise, you’ll have to wait just a little longer.

Rings, the latest supernatural thriller featuring the creepy Samara, was originally set to come out on April 1st. Now, however, the studio has pushed the film’s release back to October 28.

Taking place thirteen years after The Ring, this sequel will star Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, and The Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki. F. Javier Gutiérrez will direct with a script penned by David Loucka, Jacob Aaron Estes, and Akiva Goldsman.

After all this time, we wonder if Samara will finally upgrade from VHS to DVD.
