Tom Hardy: ‘Taboo’ miniseries begins filming

Taboo, an eight-episode drama series to debut on BBC One and FX, is set to begin production this week. Tom Hardy stars as James Keziah Delaney, a man who returns to London in the early 1800s after spending 10 years in Africa.

Delaney soon discovers he has inherited his father’s mysterious legacy and finds himself enveloped in the tensions between Britain, America and the East India Company during a period of great turbulence.

The series is created by Steven Knight, with Kristoffer Nyholm directing. Jonathan Pryce, Michael Kelly, Oona Chalpin and others star alongside Hardy.
