Tomb Raider reboot gets a director
The Tomb Raider reboot has found a director in Norwegian filmmaker, Roar Uthaug.
THR reports Uthaug (The Wave, Escape) has signed on to helm the project, which will reintroduce us to the iconic video game adventuress, Lara Croft.
Transformers 5 co-writer Geneva Robertson-Dworet is in negotiations to write the screenplay, with Warner Bros., MGM and GK Films producing in a three-way collaboration.
No plot details of the reboot have yet been revealed.
