Toy Story 4 coming in 2017

Toy Story 4 has been announced during Disney’s latest quarterly earnings report. Walt Disney Co. chief executive officer Bob Iger made the announcement, stating that the sequel will be released in June 2017, and that John Lasseter will be returning as the director. He said:

“John created Toy Story and directed the first two films, and it’s great to have him back directing one of our most valuable properties”.

Toy Story 3, which hit theatres in 2010, left the the series’ storyline fairly open-ended, so it will be interesting to see where they plan to take it next.
