Tye Sheridan to star in Spielberg’s Ready Player One

Tye Sheridan has landed the leading role in Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One.
Deadline reports that Sheridan will play the protagonist Wade in the adaptation of Ernest Cline’s sci-fi novel. He’ll star alongside Olivia Cooke and Ben Mendelsohn, who will portray Art3mis and the villainous Nolan Sorrento.
Sheridan first arrived onto the movie scene in 2011 with The Tree of Life and then with Mud just a year later. He’ll next flex his film muscles as young Cyclops in Marvel’s upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.
We’ll have to wait a little bit longer to see Sheridan in action for Ready Player One as it’s set for a March 2018 release.
