The villain in the Venom solo film has reportedly been announced as Carnage. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Carnage will go up against Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock in the movie. Casting for the super-villain is yet to be announced.
In the Marvel comics, “Carnage was once a serial killer known as Cletus Kasady, and became Carnage after merging with the offspring of the alien symbiote, Venom during a prison breakout. The symbiote amplified his psychotic nature making him even less mentally stable than he had been previously, and therefore even more dangerous.”
THR also reports that Spider-Man star Tom Holland will feature in the film. Venom is scheduled for release on October 5, 2018.
