While live on Jimmy Kimmel, Paul Bettany let slip that he’s set to play the Vision. However, the intricate details of the Vision’s appearance have yet to be detailed. Bettany’s inclusion in the new Avengers is an obvious choice, having appeared in all three Iron Man films as the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S, and while Bettany is excited about the role, he’s upset to say goodbye to his role as J.A.R.V.I.S.

“Everything’s a double-edged sword, because I was playing J.A.R.V.I.S. for years. My job was: I would turn up at a recording studio for 45 minutes, do all my stuff, they would give me a huge bag of cash and then I’d go home. Now, it turns out they’ve found me out and they want me to actually, you know, do something!”

About Theo Pape

Theo Pape grew up on great movies, created Flickreel, and serves as its Editor-in-chief. He remembers vividly the moment his mind was blown as he witnessed Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman being catapulted over a castle wall when he was a child.
