Warcraft director reveals poster along with new details about the film

Warcraft director Duncan Jones took to twitter to reveal a brand new poster for the upcoming epic featuring the character Draka:

As well as revealing a new poster for the film, Jones has also let us in on some interesting info. Speaking this week at the PAX East panel, he revealed the “fundamental” problem that Spider-Man director Sam Raimi had before he handed over directorial duties to Jones.

“I really wanted to know what the film was going to be like,” he said. “So I managed to get a sneaky look at the script and I was like ‘Ohh, it’s good, but there’s something really wrong with it.’ And it was the fact that it was human heroes against Orc villains. To me, that was fundamental misstep.”

“This was a movie that shows the heroes on all sides. As much as you can, make it half human, half orc as far as what we portray,” Jones added.

Jones then went onto say that the film will “veer off” from the game’s true lore in some sections.

“Whenever changes to lore were made, it was done in such a way to make for a better movie, as determined by Legendary and Blizzard”

We can see the changes for ourselves when Warcraft hits screens on June 10.
