Will Smith was set to star in Legendary Pictures’ sci-fi thriller Brilliance, which is based on Marcus Sakey’s novel, but has had to pull out due to timing, a consequence of the film’s start date moving a more than once according to Deadline. It comes as a blow to Legendary who were in negotiations for Noomi Rapace to star alongside him.
