Will Thor: Ragnarok Cover Planet Hulk Storyline?
As we all know, the God of Thunder won’t be the only Marvel hero in Thor: Ragnarok. Mark Ruffalo will also be in the mix as the Incredible Hulk. With the recent casting of Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, some have been lead to believe that the film might cover the Planet Hulk storyline.
In Planet Hulk, the Green Goliath becomes a gladiator of sorts on an alien world. According to JoBlo, the third Thor film could combine the Ragnarok story with the classic Hulk story ark. “How Thor ends up on the planet in question is unclear, but he will definitely be involved in some gladiatorial games run by none other than Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster. In terms of Hulk’s appearance in this portion of the film, he will be rocking the one-shoulder armor as seen in the comics, so expect him to be decked out in the familiar Planet Hulk look.”
Meanwhile, Thor’s main goal in the film will reportedly be to find “the ultimate weapon to stop Ragnarok and reset the universe.”
