Not too long ago, J.K. Simmons signed up to play Commissioner Gordon in Justice League. Many people found this ironic since Simmons previously had a major role in the Spider-Man films, thus switching teams from Marvel to DC. Now another Spidey alumni has signed up for Justice League.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Willem Dafoe is on board to star in Part 1 and Part 2 of Justice League. It’s unknown who Dafoe will be playing. Given his work as the Green Goblin, however, we could certainly see him as a fun villain.

As if this isn’t ironic enough, Michael Keaton, who’s best known for playing Batman, was recently cast as a baddie in Spider-Man: Homecoming. These actors just can’t seem to pick a side, can they?

The first half of Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
