Wolverine 3 Confirmed to be Rated R
Producer Simon Kinberg has confirmed that Wolverine 3 will indeed be rated R. Given the success of Deadpool, we all saw that one coming.
Speaking with Collider about X-Men: Apocalypse, Kinberg promised that the film would be “a very radical, bold, different Wolverine than you’ve ever seen in any of the movies.”
“It’s violent, it’s kind of like a western in its tone,” he added. “It’s just a very cool, different film.”
Kinberg didn’t say if Patrick Stewart would reprise his role as Professor X, but confirmed that the film would be set in the future.
Currently filming, Wolverine 3 hits theaters on March 3, 2017.
