Josh Boone has dropped a major hint to suggest that X-Men spinoff New Mutants will start shooting next year.
20th Century Fox has stayed relatively quiet about the future of its X-Men franchise. However, we do know that a New Mutants film is in the works. And now it’s looks like it will start its production as early as next year.
Le Journal de Montreal (via Den of Geek) reported that a new X-Men film will start shooting in May 2017 and New Mutants director Josh Boone retweeted the story which is surely a sign:
