You can finally download on Netflix

Netflix has finally announced that members worldwide can download films and TV series.

Netflix has only ever allowed video streaming, which means you’ve always needed an internet connection to watch your favorite shows. But now with a downloading service added, offline viewing will be available at no extra cost.

The new feature is included in today’s update and is available across phones and tablets on Android and iOS.

Not all content is available to download immediately though, but popular series such as Orange is The New Black , Narcos and The Crown are thankfully downloadable.

Netflix will add more titles in the near future, the company says.
