Alison Brie has added her name to an already impressive cast for James Franco’s The Disaster Artist. The film is based upon the making of the cult classic The Room, and now THR has revealed that Brie will join Zac Efron for the upcoming comedy drama.
Franco is both directing and starring in this one and the cast includes his brother, Dave Franco (Unfinished Business), Seth Rogen (The Night Before), Kate Upton (The Other Woman), Ari Graynor (The Sopranos), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Andrew Santino (Sin City Saints), Hannibal Buress (Neighbors) and Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2).
The Disaster Artist kicked off production earlier in the week and should be set for a late 2016 release.
